Rural Senior Health Fair set in New Middletown

NEW MIDDLETOWN — Comfort Keepers is hosting a Rural Senior Health Fair from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the Meadowood Trailer Park Community Building, 9555 Struthers Road. All people over age 55 who live in rural areas of Mahoning County are invited.

Featured will be door prizes and promotional items. Services to be provided follow: blood pressure, stroke screening, diabetic education, depression screening, home safety screening, nutritional screening, DNR/Living Will facts, height and weight.

Free lunches will be offered for those who register at (330) 542-9972 before Sunday.

Meadowood Trailer Park is a senior living park. Celtic Health Care is considering Meadowood’s Community Center as a potential community hot meal daily luncheon site for the area. Taste the lunches at the event and sign up to receive them either in the comfort of your home or socially at the community center.
