LOUIE TODAY: Overcoming autism; Mission of Love; children of divorce; today's Meatout

When Karen Siff Exkorn's son Jake was diagnosed with autism, she struggled to pull together comprehensive information about treatment strategies, coping techniques, financial assistance, and more. Fortunately, Siff Exkorn was able to quickly educate herself, and her extensive at-home treatment of her son led to his amazing full recovery. But the journey wasn't easy, and is detailed in "The Autism Sourcebook." She'll discuss it this morning with Louie Free, Vindy.com's news radio partner.

He'll also interview Kathleen Price on The Mission of Love's annual fundraiser banquet in Canfield. Since 1989, the Mission of Love organization has been help the poor in third world countries, Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and hurricane victims through its airlifts and truck transports of medical supplies, clothes, school supplies, building supplies and emergency vehicles.

Then Len Stauffenger will talk about raising happy children and living a successfull life after divorce, and  Evergreen Seventh Day Adventist Church Elder Sandy Hrabowy will provide details on their Earth Day Meatout Vegan Luncheon.
