WARREN — An 18-year-old woman who pleaded guilty to having sex with two minor boys in July 2008 will spend two years on probation.

Shawna A. Conn, whose most recent address was on Charles Avenue in Warren, appeared Monday morning in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court before Judge Peter Kontos for sentencing.

The judge sentenced her to concurrent 60-day terms in jail, but those sentences were suspended.

Conn, who police say originally was from McDonald, will serve two years’ probation with a series of stipulations. She can have no contact with the victims, no visits with minors including baby-sitting, no consumption of alcohol or drugs, submit to random drug testing, and she must submit to a mental health assessment.

Conn must register as a Tier 1 sexual offender, which means she must register with the sheriff’s department with a verified address for 15 years.

Warren police said Conn was baby-sitting four children at a house on Logan Street Southeast in July 2008, where the mothers of the two boys restrained Conn after learning of the allegations.

The two boys were not being baby-sat at the time of the offenses but were known to the residents of the home, police said.
