One remains hospitalized from four-vehicle crash

BOARDMAN — One victim of an accident involving three cars and a pick-up truck remains in critical condition.

Adelheid Naples, 75, of Youngstown, was life-flighted to St. Elizabeth’s Health Center in Youngstown from the scene of the accident just after 3:30 p.m. Monday, troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol Lisbon Post said. Naples remained in the hospital in critical condition as of today.

George L. Gregg, 60, of Austintown, was taken to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital after Naples’ Lincoln Towncar collided head-on with his Dodge Dakota at Tippecanoe Road and Linden Place.

The accident occurred after Naples, traveling North on Tippecanoe, failed to brake and rear-ended a Porsche that was signaling to turn left onto Linden. The Porsche was driven by 17-year-old Andrew Stanislav of Canfield.

After rear-ending Stanislav, Naples’ vehicle veered left of center, striking Gregg’s southbound truck and rolling it over, troopers said.

A Saab driven by Michael P. Mason, 43, of New Hampshire, was traveling behind Gregg. Mason swerved out of the way and jumped the curb.

Neither Mason nor Stanislav were injured in the crash.

No one has been charged in relation to the accident, but troopers said they plan to speak with Naples as soon as she is able.
