CANFIELD — The Mahoning County Sheriff’s Department charged two more individuals in relation to a suspected prostitution ring here.
Sheriff Randall Wellington said Melissa Mang, 23, and Mike Fayne, 27, two employees at the Canfield Colonial Motel, were charged today with procuring prostitution.
This means both Mang and Fayne were aware of the illegal activity but continued to rent out rooms. The sheriff said they both live at the motel.
Canfield Detective Brian McGivern said Canfield Colonial and El Patio Motel at 485 W. Main St., have been the subject of many complaints over the past 10 years.
He said the investigation began, with the help of the sheriff’s department, after a complaint of solicitation for sex at El Patio.
