PARMA — In her first varsity decision, Julie Sokol pitched a no-hitter on Saturday. Shannon Morrow (2-0) pitched a one-hitter in the nightcap for the Spartans (7-1). Alex DiDomenico led the attack with two doubles and a triple while Brooke Meenachan had a double and a triple. Erin Schafer, Morrow and Angela Martin also doubled.

VIENNA — Chris Morgan pitched a one-hitter Saturday, giving up one run. Corey Lumley’s two-run single put the Mustangs ahead. Rick Sommers homered. In the nightcap, Sommers pitched a two-hit shutout Collin Bowser hit a RBI double.
