Special Needs Expo heads to Niles center

FOR THE CHILDREN: Eszter Takacs, teacher for Miracles Unlimited, holding Evan Thompson; Tracey Tatar, director; Summer Bailing, front, and Debra Grim, event coordinator, are looking forward to the Annual Special Needs Expo hosted by the nonprofit organization.

NILES — The Eastwood Expo Center, 5555 Youngstown-Warren Road, will be the venue May 2 for the 3rd Annual Special Needs Expo, hosted by Miracles Unlimited, Inc.

The Expo is a trade show for the special needs community and is free and open to the public. From noon to 5 p.m., the Expo will provide people with disabilities and life-altering medical conditions with resources they need to maximize their quality of life.

Parents and caregivers, educators, the medical community and others faced with the challenges of caring for the special needs person will also be able to interact with exhibitors who will answer questions regarding resources, products and services.

Inspirational guest speakers and seminars will be provided. Special needs attendees will be able to participate in fun, interactive activities created specially for them. Exhibitors include government agencies, nonprofit organizations and local and national companies that provide goods and services for the special needs population of all ages.

Miracles Unlimited is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children with physical challenges to discover their potential.
