Senior center activities

Senior Independence Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, has planned the following: Monday, Men’s and Women’s Needlecraft Club at 8:30 a.m., yoga classes at 10, and bridge at 1 p.m.; Tuesday, oil painting at 10, computer class at 10 and noon, and digital club at 2; Wednesday, watercolor class at 10, Bereavement Support Group at 11, computer at 10 and noon, tai chi at noon, and 500 cards at 1 p.m.; Thursday, Watch Our Weight and Woodcarvers at 9 a.m., exercise at noon, line dancing at 1 p.m., and beinner line dancing at 2; and Friday, bingo and dessert from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Texas Hold’em at 1 p.m.

Special events include: Monday, Presque Isle Casino trip from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The following fun days begin at 10 a.m.: Tuesday, New Middletown; Wednesday, Austintown; and Thursday Boardman.
