YOUNGSTOWN — Organizacion Civica y Cultural Hispana Americana will have its annual health fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday at 3660 Shirley Road. The fair is sponsored by the Ohio Commission on Minority Health.
A variety of vendors, health and social services agencies, doctors, medical personnel from Humility of Mary Health Partners, Mahoning-Youngstown Community Action Partnership, Youngstown Health Department, dental, hearing and vision professionals from the community will provide free screenings and helpful information.
A 12-hour fast is required for cholesterol and blood-glucose testing, and blood work will be taken from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Health screenings, bone-density tests and nutrition information also will be available.
