BAZAARS

• Tod Avenue United Methodist Women will sponsor a Holiday Galore Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 11. at the church, 155 Tod Ave. NW, Warren. Featured will be a bake sale, used books, knives and brooms, used jewelry, a decorator shop, needlecraft, an attic shop, and a Christmas room.

Tickets must be purchased in advance for the Amish buffet dinner to be served from 3:30 to 6 p.m. The cost is $12 for adults and $5 for children 6 to 12, and the deadline for purchase is Sunday. Homemade cinnamon rolls and coffee will be available beginning at 10 a.m., homemade vegetable beef soup will be sold by the quart, and bread and butter pickles will be sold by the pint.

CARD/BINGO PARTIES

• Infant Jesus of Prague Guild of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 159 Reed Ave., Campbell, is sponsoring a card and bingo party at 2 p.m. Sunday. The donation is $5, and a light lunch will be served.

• Our Lady of Hungary Church, 545 N. Belle Vista Ave., will sponsor a basket bingo at 2 p.m. Oct. 12. The donation of $5 includes lunch, and there will be a 50-50 drawing, raffle and door prizes. For ticket information call (330) 792-5002 or (330) 398-9140.

• St. Patrick Altar and Rosary Society is sponsoring a card and bingo party at 1 p.m. Sunday at St. Patrick Church Hall, Main Street, Hubbard. There will be door prizes, raffles, and a light lunch. Admission is $5 at the door.

CRAFT SHOWS

• An outdoor craft show and festival will be sponsored by Austintown Community Church, 242 S. Canfield Niles Road, Austintown, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. A motorcycle show will be from 2 to 5 p.m, and the Phil Dalton Magic Show is scheduled for 5 p.m. A pumpkin patch will be from Saturday through Oct. 11. • Heartland Christian School, 28 Pittsburgh St., Columbiana, will host a “Fall in the Heartland” craft show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Featured at the event will be crafters, home demonstrators, concessions, and make-and-take crafts for children. Sale items will include mums, pumpkins, hay bales and cornstalks. Free admission.

• A rummage sale, sponsored by the American Legion F.D.R. Post 560, 103 12th St., Campbell, will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Furniture, small appliances, housewares, linens, clothing, tools, books, doors and craft items will be among the goods for sale. • First Covenant Church Women Ministries will sponsor a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the church, 5210 Glenwood Ave. Featured will be clothing, linens, toys, miscellaneous articles and some furniture. • First United Methodist Church, 237 W. Silver St., Sharon, Pa., will have a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday. A $1 a bag day will be featured Saturday. There will also be a bake sale and taco sale.

• Salvation Army Thrift Store in Austin Center, Mahoning Avenue, Austintown, is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. A variety of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and bric-a-brac is available at bargain prices.

• The Youth Group of St. James the Apostle Church, Route 422 West, New Bedford, Pa., will sponsor a Harvest sale Sunday of mums, cornstalks, Indian corn and bales of hay. For information, call (724) 964-8276.

• St. Paul Church, State Street, Salem, is sponsoring a Capital Christmas bus trip Dec. 9-11 to Washington, D.C. The trip will feature tours of monuments and memorials, historical sites and government buildings, and will include visits to the Temple Visitor’s Center’s Festival of Lights and International Nativity sets, and a show on the Millennium Stage at the Kennedy Center.
