Qualifying: The Hartford native qualified in 37th position at Dover (Del.) International Speedway for the Camping World RV 400. Blaney’s speed of 153.289 miles was almost 4 mph slower than polesitter Jeff Gordon.

Today: Blaney will start on the inside of the 19th row, with Kyle Petty on his outside. Today’s television coverage on WYTV (33) begins at 1 p.m. with the green flag scheduled to drop shortly after 2.

Season to date: Blaney remained in 31st position in the Sprint Cup standings after last weekend, but he fell a little bit to those just ahead of him. In 30th place Michael Waltrip is now 35 points ahead, and at No. 29 Reed Sorenson is 57 points ahead.
