YOUNGSTOWN — It took the six-man, six-woman jury less than four hours to issue guilty verdicts against two Youngstown residents on all charges in the crime that left KFC manager Joe Kaluza paralyzed.
Taran Helms, 23, of West Hylda Avenue, and Hattie Gilbert, 20, of East Judson Avenue, were both accused of attempted murder, felonious assault, aggravated robbery and kidnapping — all with firearm specifications. She was charged with complicity.
They both could face up to 50 years in prison when sentenced
