NILES — Members of the Fairhaven Special Olympics golf team are competing in the State Golf Tournament at Meadow Links in Cincinnati today.
Approximately 300 golfers from 25 counties in Ohio are expected to participate in this annual event.
For Fairhaven, Jim Tricomi and Andrew Gibson will compete in the individual stroke format. They qualified for this state tournament at the Area 11 Golf Tournament July 19 at Ash Hills Golf Course in Cortland.
