LEETONIA —The village has contracted with Liquid Engineering to have the village’s water tower and reservoir tanks cleaned and inspected beginning Friday.
The company will start with the underground reservoir tank first and then proceed to the water tower. This should be a two-day process, village officials said.
Customers are being cautioned when using water that there will be a possibility of discolored water for a couple of days until the cleaning process has been completed. The next step to improve the water quality will be to flush out the entire water distribution system, officials added.
