AUCTIONS

• Holy Trinity Romanian Orthodox Church, 626 Wick Ave., will have a Chinese auction Sunday. Doors will open at noon, and drawings will begin at 1:30 p.m. Tickets cost $3 a sheet or two for $5. Specials are $1 a ticket. There will be food and a 50-50 raffle.

• Warren Township Fire Department Station 47 Auxiliary will have its 10th annual Christmas auction at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Johnson Community Center on Gilmer Road in Leavittsburg. Funds will be used to support the volunteer firefighters.

BAZAARS

• The United Methodist Women of the East Fairfield United Methodist Church, 45675 state Route 558, near New Waterford, will have their annual bazaar and rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 4. A soup-and-sandwich luncheon will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

• Kinsman Presbyterian Church, Church Street, will be having its annual bazaar and roast beef dinner Saturday. The booths will open at 11 a.m., and dinner will be served from noon to 4 p.m. Tickets go on sale at 11:30 a.m. Price for the dinner is $8 for adults, $4.50 for children 4 to 11 and free for kids 3 and under.

• Salem Memorial Building, 785 E. State St., will be hosting its 20th annual Holiday Arts and Crafts Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 5 and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 6. Lunch is served both days, including homemade soup, sandwiches and desserts beginning at 11 a.m. New vendors are still being accepted at a cost of $25 for an 8-foot table with chairs. There will also be a Chinese auction, for which the drawing will be Dec. 6. Call (330) 332-5512 for information on renting a space. Proceeds from the event will benefit year-round activities and services for all ages at the building.

• Zion Hill Church, 14550 New Buffalo Road, Columbiana, is having a bazaar and rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Lunch will be available.

CARD/BINGO PARTIES

• Guilford Lake Ruritan, state Route 172 at Hanna Drive, Guilford Lake, will sponsor bingo at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

• Jewish Community Center of Youngstown, known as The J, 505 Gypsy Lane, is hosting the JCC Poker Tournament Sunday in the Multipurpose Room. A high rollers tournament, with a $150 buy-in, begins at noon, and 75 percent will be paid out. An open tournament, with a $50 buy-in, begins at 2 p.m., with 70 percent to be paid out. The two tournaments in one day will include a big screen TV for the game, free food and pop, and beer for sale. Register at the J’s bursar’s office. • Super Bingo Sunday will take place at St. Jude Church, 180 Seventh St., Columbiana, on Sunday. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. for early birds, lunch and early seating. Games begin promptly at 2 p.m. A $25 donation entitles players to free daubers, coffee and pop for the entire day, all cards for all games (specials are extra) and a chance to win $3,400 in cash prizes, including a $1,000 coverall. Other features include a lunch counter, bake sale and goodies sale.

• A luncheon and card/bingo social is planned for 1:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Lucy Parish Center, 394 Tenney Ave., Campbell, sponsored by the Infant Jesus of Prague Guild. Doors will open at 11 a.m., and luncheon will be served from noon to 1:30 p.m.

CRAFT SHOWS

• Altrusa Club of Warren will have its 36th annual craft show from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Packard Music Hall, 1703 Mahoning Ave., N.W., Warren. There will be 75 crafters, lunch, prizes, baked goods, homemade candy and a raffle. Admission cost is $1.50, and parking is free.

• The 15th annual Labrae Craft Show will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Bascom Elementary School, 1015 N. Leavitt Road, Leavittsburg. Vendor spaces have sold out. Homemade food will be prepared all day, including for carryout. There is no charge for admission.

• Leetonia PTO Christmas Craft Show will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 13, and vendors are needed. Vendors are required to take their own tables and chairs. Space rental is $20 each, or $25 with electricity, and must by reserved by Nov. 28. Call (330) 427-6706 or (330) 427-0205.

• St. Luke Church, 5235 South Ave., Boardman, is having a craft and gift show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the church hall. Admission and parking are free. There will be many items for all occasions and holidays from 60 or more vendors. To be a vendor, call (330) 402-7555.

• West Middlesex High School Baseball Team is sponsoring its Homespun Holiday Fine Arts and Crafts Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the high school, Route 18 in West Middlesex, Pa. Also featured will be homemade ethnic foods and pastries. The entrance fee is a $2 donation.

SALES

• Coitsville Presbyterian Church, 91 Coitsville-Hubbard Road, will have a rummage and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. A light lunch will be available with homemade soup and sandwiches. Soup and salad dressing may be purchased to take home.
