City man arrested with loaded gun

YOUNGSTOWN — Korron Devoe, 26, of the 2800 block of Guss Street, was arrested at 4 p.m. Friday after officers came across his car stopped in the middle of the 600 block of McBride Street.

When officers approached, they said the passenger fled and Devoe tried to flee but was detained by police. They found he was wanted on assault charges and also found a loaded .25-caliber handgun and a loose rifle round. He was taken to the Mahoning County Jail.
