2 men jailed on drug charges

YOUNGSTOWN — A Hubbard man and a Struthers man are in the Mahoning County Jail after being arrested on drug charges in separate incidents.

Rodney E. Turner II, 29, of East Washington, Struthers, was arrested around 1 a.m. Friday on possession of drugs after officers stopped his car, alleging he failed to signal to turn onto South Avenue from Cambridge Avenue. They said they smelled a strong odor of marijuana and discovered he had three prior charges pending and was wanted on a marijuana charge. They found a small bag of suspected marijuana.

Adam Young, 24, of Parkview Drive in Hubbard, was arrested at 3:26 p.m. Friday on possession of drug paraphernalia, drugs and drug instruments after police stopped his car in the 1100 block of Lansdowne Boulevard because his windshield was cracked.
