Phantoms lose to U.S. team 4-2

BOARDMAN — There were two very different sounds coming from the locker rooms at the Ice Zone Friday night.

The visiting team locker room was blaring music and was full of people cheering. The home locker room had a chorus of slamming doors.

The frustrated Mahoning Valley Phantoms (6-2-1) were defeated by the Team USA 17-und-under squad 4-2 in front of an announced crowd of 435.
