Volleyball \ Tuesday

STOW — The Austintown Fitch High volleyball team was eliminated by Stow in a Division I district tournament semifinal Tuesday at Stow High.

The scores were 25-15, 25-19, 25-17.

Ashley Guittar had 10 assists, four kills and eight digs and Kayla Sefcik 12 kills, three blocks and three digs to lead Fitch (9-15).

Rory Sachire contributed eight kills and seven blocks and Michelle Basista 11 digs and one ace for the Falcons.

Stow (17-6 ) will meet Boardman on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the district final.
