• WASHINGTON, Pa. — David and Lisa Amistade of Washington are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Heather Amistade, also of Washington, and Nicholas Hovanic of Mars, a son of Kenneth and Catherine Hovanic of Salem.
Miss Amistade graduated from Washington and Jefferson College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is employed by Roche Diagnostics in Mars as a medical device sales representative, specializing in diabetes care.
Mr. Hovanic is an information security analyst at UPMC Corporate Services in Pittsburgh. He graduated from Washington and Jefferson with a bachelor’s degree in information technology leadership, and from Robert Morris University with a master’s in information security and assurance.
Invitations will be extended for the wedding the couple have planned for 4 p.m. Nov. 28 at Immaculate Conception Church, and for their evening reception at the Holiday Inn-Meadowlands.
