• BOARDMAN — The exchange of nuptial vows took place during a 4:30 p.m. ceremony Sept. 13 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park as Alina Bowser and John R. Hake Jr., both of 27 Withers Drive, were united in marriage.

The Rev. Randy Brunko officiated at the ceremony for the daughter of Wendy and Dave Kishton, 3635 Arden Blvd., Youngstown, and the son of Paula Hake of Slatedale, Pa., and the late John Hake Sr.

After a private reception at Caff Capri, the couple left for a honeymoon at Riviera Maya in Mexico. Upon return, they live at the Withers Drive address.

Gold embroidery embellished the bride’s strapless eggshell-colored gown.

Wearing latt -colored gowns were Amanda Krpicak of Austintown, the honor attendant, and Carey Maderitz of Girard, the bridesmaid. Serving as flower girl was Brooke Cooper of Ellwood City, Pa., a niece of the groom.

The groom’s nephew, Gregory Hake of New Castle, Pa., performed the duties of best man, and groomsman was Brian Russelo of Boardman.

The bride is employed in the medical records department at Youngstown Orthopedic Center in Canfield.

The groom graduated from Bethany College in West Virginia with a bachelor’s degree and is employed at Austintown Dairy.
