• NEW MIDDLETOWN — A reception in the Alpine Room at SNPJ in Enon Valley, Pa., honored Robert P. Canter Jr., 6325 Navajo Place, Poland, and his bride, the former Andrea S. Candle, 6166 Middletown Road, following their 1:30 p.m. wedding on Aug. 9 at St. Paul the Apostle Church.

The Rev. Nicholas Shori officiated for the daughter of Michael and Deborah Candle, also of 6166 Middletown Road, and the son of Donna Canter, 2808 Denver Drive, Poland, and the late Robert Canter Sr.

Afterward the couple left on a wedding trip to Jamaica. Upon their return, they live in Poland.

The bride’s white gown was enhanced with pearls and sequins and had a chapel train.

Pink gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Kristin Fisher, the bride’s sister, and the bridesmaids, Stephanie Massie, another sister of the bride; Deanna Canter, the groom’s sister; Terri Craig; Jessica Erck; and Ciara Ciccolelli. Flower girls were the bride’s niece, Gabrielle Massie, and the groom’s niece, Lauren Canter.

Paul Canter was best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Rodney Ramps; Craig Candle, the bride’s brother; Thomas Ruminski and Frank Ruminski, the groom’s cousins; and James Ihnat. Ring bearers were Tanner Craig and the groom’s nephew, P.J. Canter Jr.

The bride is an optical assistant with Eye Catchers Optical in Columbiana. The groom, an accountant with Mill Creek MetroParks, Canfield, earned a degree in business at Youngstown State University.
