Remember someone special through the Angel Fund

Sunday, November 30, 2008

SHARON, Pa. — Sharon Regional Health System Auxiliary is supporting patients at the health system’s Cancer Care Center through the Angel Fund.

Holiday trees will be in the lobby of the hospital’s Emergency Care Center and at the cancer center at 2320 Highland Road in Hermitage.

For a donation of $5 or more, a light will be placed on the trees in honor or in memory of someone special.

The name of each person honored will be on special tags. The auxiliary will use the money to assist cancer patients with medications or household utilities.

A tree-lighting ceremony will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the lobby of the cancer center. The campaign ends Jan. 11, but donations are accepted all year.

Send your name, address, telephone number and the name of the person you are honoring or memorializing and their address or their family’s address to Sharon Regional Health System Auxiliary, c/o Volunteer Office, 740 E. State St., Sharon, PA 16146. Make checks payable to Sharon Regional Health System Auxiliary.
