Mercer County Crime Solvers Crime of the week

Officials need your helping in solving this crime:

Crime: Smash-and-grab convenience store burglary.

Site: Tic Toc BP store, 4195 E. State St., Hermitage, at 1:04 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 9.

Description of suspect: Young, white male, thin to average build, wearing a dark, two-tone, diamond-plaid-pattern hooded sweat shirt or jacket, possibly a solid black shirt underneath that extended below, baggy blue jeans and dark footwear.

Method: The suspect broke a window on the front door with a tire iron, entered and took an empty cash register. He was last seen traveling south on South Hermitage Road (Pa. Route 18).
