Summit County officials seek relatives of dead man

AKRON — The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office is looking for relatives of 55-year-old Charles R. Reighart, 3653 Hiwood Ave., Stowe, who was found dead of natural causes at his home on Nov. 18. David Turney, medical examiner investigator, said Reighart had no children “that we know of” and attempts to reach Reighart’s ex-wife have been unsuccessful. Turney said Reighart was an avid collector of baseball memorabilia. For Reighart to be put to rest in a dignified fashion, someone needs to claim the body and provide the name of a funeral home, Turney said.
