McDonald tree-lighting ceremony is Saturday

McDONALD — The 27th annual McDonald Village tree lighting will be 6:30 p.m. Saturday near the Ramsey Pavilion and will last until 9 p.m. The ceremony will be followed by Santa’s arrival on a firetruck. There will be free hayrides and caroling to village residents unable to attend the festivities.

Children will have many activities to enjoy, including a visit with Santa, making reindeer food, and face painting. Refreshments will be provided from 7 to 9 p.m. The free refreshments can be enjoyed by those attending by a bonfire. All activities are free and sponsored by the McDonald Lions and with support of village representatives.
