Natalie Kolehmainen of New Castle, Pa., and John Peyko of Youngstown were members of a team of first-year pharmacy students that took top honors in the 2008 College of Pharmacy Dean’s Award for Best Poster. The poster competition was part of NEOUCOM’s observation of National Pharmacists Week. The winning poster was titled “Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties.”

ASHLAND UNIVERSITY, ASHLAND, OHIO

Kelly Moore, daughter of Donald and Deborah Moore of Cortland, has been inducted into Kappa Delta Pi. She is an early childhood education major. Kappa Delta Pi recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to education and strives to enhance continued professional growth. Membership requires a 3.2 grade point average and specific academic requirements.

WESTMINSTER COLLEGE, New Wilmington, Pa.

Stephanie Witzorreck, a music education major from Jamestown, Pa., earned third place in the Senior Women category in the Tri-State National Association of Teachers of Singing competition at Westminster. The competition provides the opportunity for students of voice to compete in both classical and musical theater categories.
