MAHONING COUNTY

Celtic Healthcare offers hot, nutritious meals at noon weekdays at nine locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance, and transportation is available. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.

Wednesday, Nov. 26: Stuffed pepper with sauce, mashed potatoes, sliced carrots, Italian bread with margarine and milk.

Thursday, Nov. 27: Closed for Thanksgiving.

Friday, Nov 28: Breaded fish square on a bun with tartar sauce, scalloped potatoes, broccoli cuts, sweetened or unsweetened diced pears and milk.

Saturday, Nov. 29: Cold cuts on a bun with mustard and mayonnaise, celery with ranch dressing, orange and apple juice.

Monday, Dec. 1: Barbecue pork ribs, diced carrots, cheesy mashed potatoes, coleslaw, Diamond Jim bun and milk.

Tuesday, Dec. 2: Creamed chicken, green beans, scalloped apples, pickled beets, biscuit with margarine and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.25 per meal.

Friday, Nov 28: Closed.
