Wisconsin-Green Bay 72, Marshall 66

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Mike Schachtner scored 16 points to lead Wisconsin-Green Bay to a victory in the Glenn Wilkes Classic. The Phoenix (1-2) bounced back less than 24 hours after a 17-point loss to Division II Rollins. With Marshall leading 54-52 following a putback by Tirrell Baines, Wisconsin-Green Bay went on an 11-0 run over a 3:04 minute stretch.

Cent. Michigan 70, Wright St. 68, OT

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — Robbie Harman hit a 3-pointer with 1.4 seconds to play in overtime. Harman scored nine points, including a 3-pointer with seven seconds left in regulation to force the extra frame. The Chippewas (2-2) trailed the Raiders (0-2) 59-49 with 4:07 to play, but five points from Jeremy Allen sparked a 12-2 run to close regulation. Allen finished with 22 points to lead Central Michigan while Jacolby Hardiman had 10 points and 10 rebounds.Wright State was led by Cory Cooperwood, who had 16 points and 11 rebounds.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — J.R. Blount scored a game-high 17 points, including three in the final 32 seconds. Blount, who has led the Ramblers (2-2) in scoring in three of their four games, drove the lane for a layup and go-ahead basket with 32 seconds left and added a free throw with 10 seconds left. Blount also had a game-high five assists. David Kool led Western Michigan (1-4) with 16 points. The Broncos missed more than 70 percent of their shots, making 15-of-51 shots, including 4-of-17 from 3-point range. Shawntes Gary (12 points) had a chance to send the game into overtime, but missed a 3-pointer from the left side of the court as the game-ended buzzer sounded.

Butler 87, Ind.-S. Bend 33

INDIANAPOLIS — Shelvin Mack scored 19 points Saturday and Butler used a 16-0 first-half run to beat Indiana-South Bend. The Bulldogs (3-0) trailed only once after a layup by Ben Werner in the opening minute. Matt Howard tied the game, then Gordon Hayward put Butler in front for good. The Bulldgos led 17-13 before a 3-pointer by Hayward started the 16-point run that put the game out of reach. Butler led 39-16 at halftime and widened the lead steadily through the second half. The final score was the largest lead of the game.
