Thanksgiving Day of Prayer: OurPrayer, an outreach ministry of Guideposts, will observe Monday as Thanksgiving Day of Prayer. Guideposts staff and prayer volunteers in their homes will be joined by thousands of Web visitors to pray for each request by name and need. OurPrayer is part of the nondenominational organization created by Dr. Norman Vincent Peale and his wife, Ruth Stafford Peale.

Game: The Thanksgiving Game reflects the passage from Ephesians 5:20, “... always be giving thanks to God the Father of everything.” Game players reflect on their blessings and fill out game “cards of thanks.”
