Todd SanSone, a Youngstown State University graduate and the son of Mr. and Mrs. A.E. Vea of Liberty, was part of the film crew for the new James Bond film “Quantum of Solace.” The film was shot in six countries and three continents.

“I enjoy travel and adventure and this certainly was one I won’t forget,” said SanSone. “I felt privileged to work with some of the finest film crews in the industry. It’s amazing to grow up watching the Bond films, then years later be part of making one on another continent.”

SanSone was part of the aerial unit in Chile as a specialist wireless technician. “My task was to provide a wireless video down-link from the camera ship to the ground unit. By seeing the camera’s frame lines in real-time, Director Marc Forster and Director of Photography Roberto Schaefer could make critical decisions on an important climactic sequence between the villain and the Bond character,” said SanSone.

Some of SanSone’s most recent credits include: “Nights in Rodanthe,” “Get Smart,” “Iron Man,” “Step Brothers,” “Hancock,” “Fred Claus,” “Apocalypto,” “Spider-man 3,” and the upcoming “Yes Man.”

He also worked on the upcoming action crime thriller “Bone Deep,” starring Matt Dillon and Paul Walker. It is due out in 2010.
