Snow blankets Pennsylvania

ERIE, Pa. (AP) — Snow news is good news and bad news in western Pennsylvania.

The National Weather Service has lifted a lake effect snow warning for Erie and surrounding areas in northwestern Pennsylvania. There will still be light snow on Tuesday, but no more than two inches over an area that saw a foot or more of snow fall Sunday night into Monday.

In southwestern Pennsylvania, a winter weather advisory calling for three to six inches of snow by 6 p.m. Tuesday has prompted several mostly rural school districts to delay classes by two hours.

Two to four inches of snow has already fallen near the Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Somerset County, about 65 miles southeast of Pittsburgh, with lesser amounts in lower elevations.
