NFL ROUNDUP Sunday’s other games

Titans 24, Jaguars 14

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Kerry Collins threw three touchdown passes, Albert Haynesworth dominated defensively again and the Titans improved to 10-0. Tennessee overcame a 14-3 halftime deficit, got solid play from third-string cornerback Chris Carr and extended its franchise-record winning streak in the regular season to 13. The Titans also won their seventh consecutive regular-season road game. The Jaguars (4-6) lost for the fourth time in six games, fell six games behind AFC South leader Tennessee and probably ended any chance they had of returning to the postseason. Collins was at his best when the team needed him most, directing consecutive touchdown drives in the third quarter that turned an 11-point deficit into a three-point lead. He sealed the victory with a perfect 38-yard TD pass to Justin Gage with 3:57 remaining. Collins and Gage also hooked up for a 56-yard score in the third period — the only third-down conversation of the day for the Titans. They finished 1-of-12 on third down.

Cardinals 26, Seahawks 20

SEATTLE — Kurt Warner completed 32 of 44 passes for 395 yards — his franchise-record fourth straight 300-yard game — and J.J. Arrington scored a career-high two touchdowns. The 37-year-old veteran completed 19 of his first 21 passes, while Anquan Boldin, who had 13 catches for a career-best 186 yards, and Larry Fitzgerald — 10 receptions, 151 yards — roamed free all day in Arizona’s first win at Seattle since 2002. The Cardinals are 7-3 for the first time since 1977, when they were in St. Louis.

Giants 30, Ravens 10

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Not even Ray Lewis and the Ravens’ league-best rushing defense could avoid becoming the Giants’ latest victims. Bruising Brandon Jacobs pounded his way into the end zone on a pair of 1-yard runs and the Giants’ league-leading running attack ran for 207 yards — New York’s third straight 200-yard game. Aaron Ross iced the game by returning one of his two interceptions 50 yards for a third-quarter touchdown as the Giants (9-1) won their fifth straight game overall, and sixth straight at home.

Panthers 31, Lions 22

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The one-two punch of DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart dazzled with a record setting day on the ground for Carolina. Stewart rushed for a career-high 130 yards and a touchdown and Williams added 120 yards and two more scores. The Panthers (8-2) won their fourth straight game by setting a team record with 264 yards rushing in the first time two of their backs rushed for over 100 yards in the same game.

Bucs 19, Vikings 13

TAMPA, Fla. — Jeff Garcia threw for 255 yards without an interception and scrambled for two first downs on a time-consuming go-ahead field goal drive in the fourth quarter. Garcia completed 23 of 30 passes. He moved the Bucs 69 yards in 13 plays, burning nearly nine minutes off the clock to take a 16-13 lead on Matt Bryant’s third field goal. Minnesota fumbled on the ensuing kickoff, Tampa Bay (7-3) recovered and Bryant added his fourth field goal for a six-point lead with 3:30 to go.

Broncos 24, Falcons 20

ATLANTA — Jay Cutler threw a 9-yard touchdown pass to Daniel Graham with 51‚Ñ2 minutes remaining, handing the Falcons their first loss of the season at home. Michael Turner scored on a 28-yard run to put Atlanta ahead 20-17 with just under 11 minutes left, but the Broncos (6-4) pulled out their second straight road victory.

Colts 33, Texans 27

INDIANAPOLIS — Peyton Manning spent one half deciphering the Houston defense. He spent the final two quarters cutting it up. The two-time league MVP led Indianapolis on four straight scoring drives in the second half, wiping out two Houston leads. He took advantage of every opportunity, finished 30-of-46 for 320 yards with two touchdowns, and magnificently mixed the run and pass in the second half when Houston (3-7) couldn’t keep up with the Colts.

Packers 37, Bears 3

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Ryan Grant finally hit his stride, rushing for 145 yards and a touchdown. Kyle Orton started at quarterback for the Bears after sitting out last Sunday’s game with a sprained right ankle. But Orton was outplayed by Aaron Rodgers, who completed 23 of 30 passes for 227 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. Orton was 13-of-26 for 138 yards, completing only two passes to a wide receiver against the Packers’ strong secondary.

Dolphins 17, Raiders 15

MIAMI — Dan Carpenter kicked a 38-yard field goal with 38 seconds left to cap a 61-yard drive, and the Dolphins earned their fourth consecutive victory. Johnnie Lee Higgins scored on a 93-yard punt with 4:30 left to give the Raiders their first lead. The Raiders generated only two field goals on offense, and scored two points when Jay Richardson sacked Chad Pennington for a safety.

Saints 30, Chiefs 20

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Drew Brees, directing the NFL’s top-ranked offense, threw for 266 yards and one touchdown against the league’s worst defense. Lance Moore had eight catches for 102 yards, including a 47-yard touchdown strike. Tyler Thigpen’s second touchdown pass to Dwayne Bowe brought the Chiefs (1-9) within seven points with 13:54 left. But Brees led the Saints on a time-consuming, 12-play drive capped by Garrett Hartley’s third field goal, a 35-yarder, to make it a 10-point game. A moment later, Thigpen was intercepted by Usama Young, ending a string of 161 straight passes without a pick. The former seventh-round draft pick, making his fifth start, was 19-of-38 for 235 yards and two TDs.
