• HOWLAND — Mr. and Mrs. David A. Wood of Warren recently celebrated their 50th anniversary with their family at a special gathering at The Chophouse.
The Woods were married Oct. 25, 1958, at St. Mary Church in Warren.
A Navy veteran, Mr. Wood retired from Copperweld Steel in 1991 after 37 years. He now works for AVI Foodsystems and is known as a bartender in the Warren area.
Mrs. Wood retired in 1986 from Packard Electric after working there more than 31 years.
The celebration was hosted by their daughters, Patty Wills and Sandy Wood, son-in-law Tom Wills, and granddaughters Kara and Emily Wills.
