Christian Science teacher to speak on healing

WARREN — Ron Ballard, a practitioner and teacher of Christian Science healing, will present a talk, “Why Healing Spiritually is Crucial,” during a free program at 3 p.m. Nov. 9 at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel, 135 Highland Terrace Boulevard, off Route 46 and across from the Eastwood Mall.

Ballard will discuss what constitutes healing and will focus on spiritual regeneration and development and the benefits of moving beyond physical care to spiritual restoration and well-being.

Ballard graduated with a degree in political science from Claremont McKenna College in California. He was a campaign consultant before entering the full-time ministry of healing in Christian Science, a field in which he has worked for some 40 years. He is a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship.
