X NORTH LIMA — Melva Huebert of North Lima announces the engagement of her daughter, Mary Grace Huebert of Santa Monica, Calif., and Bryan Lang of La Crescenta, Calif.
Miss Huebert is also the daughter of the late John Huebert. Mr. Lang is the son of Christopher and Joy Lang, also of La Crescenta.
On Aug. 16, the couple will exchange wedding vows at 6 p.m. in the presence of invited guests at Stauffer Chapel, Pepperdine University Church of Christ in Malibu, Calif.
The bride-elect, a summa cum laude graduate of Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa., earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and public relations. She graduated summa cum laude from Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, where she earned a juris doctorate. She is to begin working in Salt lake City, Utah, as a law clerk for Judge Michael McConnell of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit.
The prospective groom graduated cum laude from the University of California at Irvine with a bachelor’s degree in political science. Also a graduate of Pepperdine School of Law with a juris doctorate, he will be working as an associate for the law firm of Crawford & Bangs in Covina, Calif.
