Nicotra leaves WKBN for station in Pittsburgh

YOUNGSTOWN — WKBN-TV 27 morning news co-anchor Amber Nicotra has left the station to take a job at Pittsburgh’s WTAE-TV, where she’ll be a reporter for the morning news show. Her last day at WKBN was Wednesday.

Nicotra came to WKBN in 2002. Gary Coursen, WKBN-TV news director, said he is exploring options for replacing Nicotra. News reporter Jackie Preston will fill in as co-anchor with Jeff Levkulich on an interim basis, said Coursen.
