X GIRARD — The engagement of Vicki Burgett, daughter of Bob and Linda Burgett, all of 451 Secrist Lane, and Charles C. Mooney, son of Charles E. and Linda Mooney, all of 306 McDonald Ave., McDonald, is announced by their parents.
The couple will exchange vows at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 9 at New Life Lutheran Church in Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for the wedding and for a reception that evening at McMenamy’s in Niles.
The bride-to-be graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is an accountant for Smith Jones & Associates LLC in Warren.
The prospective groom, also a YSU graduate, earned a bachelor’s degree in education. He works as a substitute teacher.
