XSTRUTHERS — Gary Walker and Anita Kovalick of Struthers are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Philosophy Elisabeth Walker, and Adam James McCluskey, a son of Alice and James McCluskey of Leetonia.
The couple will be united in marriage during an open ceremony at noon Sept. 20 at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for a reception to follow at the church.
Miss Walker, a free-lance writer and editor, graduated from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., with a bachelor’s degree in English.
Mr. McCluskey is employed at Exal Corp. in Youngstown. He is also a religious studies major at Youngstown State University and a postulant in the Episcopal Church. He will attend seminary next year to become an Episcopal priest.
