X YOUNGSTOWN — Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Valley of Youngstown were joined by family members and friends as they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary during a luncheon in their honor at the MVR Restaurant.

Among those in attendance were their six grandchildren and members of their bridal party.

Hosts for the festivity were their four children and their spouses, Tony “Tee” Valley of Maplewood, Minn.; Nick and Maria Valley of Canfield; Bill and MariAnn Cann of Liberty; and Dominic Valley of Phoenix.

The former Dorothy Bevilacqua and Mr. Valley were married May 15, 1948, at St. Ann Church. The couple are members of Liberty Historical Society and St. Anthony Seniors.

Mrs. Valley also is a member of St. Anthony Altar and Rosary Society and the Liberty 55 Club.

Mr. Valley retired in 1982 from Ohio Bell Telephone Co., where he was a supervisor. After retiring, he started his own business, Valley Photo Lab, where he specialized in photographic processing. He also owned and operated the E-J Chair Rental business.

In March, the Valleys spent the month visiting their son in Phoenix, and in August will visit their son in Minnesota. The family will get together in September for its 23rd annual weekend at Cook Forest in Pennsylvania, and the yearlong anniversary celebration will also include a family trip to Hawaii in February.
