YOUNGSTOWN — A 12-year-old Imperial Street girl assaulted by a group of kids as she left Borts Pool Monday evening ended up with a black eye, chipped tooth, swollen nose and mouth and scrapes and bruises, police said. The girl’s mother told police that the attack happened around 6:15 p.m. at the corner of Belle Vista and Connecticut avenues, where the pool is located on the West Side. No suspects were identified in the police report. The report was turned over to the juvenile division.
