FESTIVALS

• The 76th annual Serbian Day picnic will begin at noon Sunday at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave. Featured will be music by Libby’s Zenski Tamburitzans from noon to 4 p.m. in the church hall and by Djuro Klipa from 4 to 9 p.m. outside. Traditional foods such as chicken paprikash will be available at 11:30 a.m. Also sold will be barbecued lamb and pork, grilled chevap dinners, kielbasa and sauerkraut sandwiches and a variety of treats. There will be games for children. Admission is $3.

SALES

• Alzheimer’s Assistance and Referral Network will be having its annual garage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 7 and 8 and from 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 9 at Western Reserve Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road. Clean, saleable items for the event will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 4, 5 and 6 at the church. No pickup service is available.
