COLUMBIANA — Someone stole a bronze sculpture from the garden area at the front entrance of the Columbiana Library, the Columbiana Police Department reported.
The sculpture depicts a boy and girl sitting on a bench reading a book, with room on the bench for another child to join them.
Called “The Readers,” it is by artist Max Turner.
The sculpture weighs about 400 pounds and is 44 inches long, 30 feet wide and 36 inches tall.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the police department.
