X AUSTINTOWN — Announced by Martin and Janet Miklas, 7070 Fairview Road, is the engagement of their daughter, Kathleen Miklas of Boardman, and Joseph Corvino, also of Boardman.
Parents of the prospective groom are Susan Corvino of Boardman and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Corvino of Columbiana.
Miss Miklas, a kindergarten teacher with Youngstown Community School, graduated from Mount Union College in Alliance with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education.
Mr. Corvino attended Youngstown State University and is employed in purchasing with PHD Manufacturing in Columbiana.
The couple have planned an open wedding for 2 p.m. June 21 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Canfield. Invitations will be extended for their evening reception at The Legends of Fonderlac at Fonderlac Country Club, New Springfield.
