Dinner, reception held for Nodays’ 50th anniversary

X BOARDMAN — Antone’s Banquet Centre provided the setting at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 19 for a dinner and reception held in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Noday, 1582 Palo Verde Drive, who were celebrating the 50th anniversary of their wedding.

Invitations for the festivities were extended by the couple’s son and daughter and their spouses, David and Margaret Noday of Canfield and Lori and Bill Santangelo of Boardman.

The Nodays also have five grandchildren, Lauren and Anthony Santangelo and Nicole, Natalie and David Noday.

The former Barbara Schettino and Mr. Noday were united in marriage Jan. 18, 1958, at St. Brendan Church in Youngstown. They are members of St. Nicholas Church.

Mrs. Noday, a homemaker, had been employed as a secretary at West Junior High School and also in the office of J.C. Penney at the Southern Park Mall. She is a member of the Altar and Rosary Society at the church.

Mr. Noday, who served with the U.S. Marine Corps, has been a barber for 50 years and for 45 of those years owned and operated Rudy’s Barber Shop in Boardman. He is a member of St. Nicholas Holy Name Society and belongs to several golf leagues.
