HOWLAND — The YWCA of Youngstown’s art show, entitled Women Artists: A Celebration, opens Saturday at the Trumbull Branch of the Butler Institute of American Art, 9350 E. Market St. It runs through Feb. 9.
More than 130 pieces by 75 women artists will be on display, including paintings, drawings, photographs, sculpture, fiber, ceramics and metal works. Laura Domencic, director of the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, served as juror.
An opening reception will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $35, payable at the door or in advance by calling the YWCA at (330) 746-6361.
