CANFIELD — Assistant Chief Charles Colucci of the Canfield Police Department has graduated from the 13-month Certified Law Enforcement Executive program. He was among 22 graduates honored at a graduation ceremony in Columbus on Feb. 15.
The course is co-sponsored by the Law Enforcement Foundation Inc. and Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police. Participants were selected by meeting standards in experience, education and professional experience.
The course work includes classes in ethics, change management, interpersonal skills, vision, mission and organizational values, strategic planning, external environmental management and resource allocation and utilization.
Colucci has a master’s and bachelor’s degrees in criminal justice from Youngstown State University. He joined the Canfield Police Department in June 1996.
