SALEM — Jimmy Phillis scored 19 points to lead three United players in double figures as the Golden Eagles took a 32-20 halftime lead en route to a 59-48 victory in a Division III sectional boys basketball game Tuesday at Salem High School.
Jeremy Walker added 15 points and McCavitt Carter had 12 for United (13-8), which will meet top-seeded Campbell at 8 p.m. Friday.
Canton Central Catholic will take on Lisbon in the early game that night.
Travis Wisler scored 14 points for the Raiders (8-13), while A.J. Ondrey had 10.
