WARREN — Blessed Sacrament Church in Warren and the Youngstown Metro American Heart Association will team up Sunday for their Sixth Annual Pasta Cook-Off. All proceeds go to Blessed Sacrament’s donation to the American Heart Association’s 2008 Start! Heart Walk, which funds cardiovascular research and educational efforts in the community.
The event will begin at 12:30 p.m. at the church, 3020 Reeves Road. Presale tickets cost $12 for adults and $5 per child 5 to 11, with a $30 maximum per family. Tickets at the door will be $15 for adults with a maximum $35 per family.
The pasta competition will include dishes from local restaurants and catering companies, and a celebrity panel of judges will decide the winners.
