Scrappers win in bottom of 9th

NILES — Michael Valadez’s sacrifice fly scored Tom Fedroff with the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning, as the Mahoning Valley Scrappers edged the Batavia Muckdogs, 8-7, in a New York-Penn League game at Eastwood Field Tuesday night.
